Beautiful, violent board games from 1920-1938 Soviet Union

War-mongering propaganda never looked so good.

The Charnel-House has published a look at several early Soviet board games, and they’re incredible. The graphics are bold and striking and while I don’t have the rules for any of these titles, I think “Electrification” and “Reds vs. Whites” are pretty self-explanatory.

Let the capitalists have their Monopoly. Who’s up for a rousing game of War of Tanks?
