Overview
- Relics & Ruin is the first major expansion to the game, introducing important new mechanics, the Event deck and Relic cards
- Events modify the Encounters, changing the conditions and making them more challenging than ever, while Relics add permenant abilities to players which must be earned through the conditions of Treasure Events.
- Having heard that the base game creatures weren’t quite deadly enough for experienced players, Relics & Ruin answers the call with a vengence, offering the toughest Encounters since the game launched
- Includes the Fan Favorite, WereBoar, who may bite a player only to have them turn on the other players at the end of the game to face as the last Encounter
- Most of the Encounters in this expansion were built from fan concepts proposed in a huge contest and each creator is credited in the game.
