   I purchased this game based on the volume of boardgamesweekly.com reviews. The game play is a little boring to catch my attention. Having said that, I think it is a good introduction game for younger kids because of the theme and simplicity (I think 6 or 7 years old would be a good age. I have no idea why it listed for 13+.)

   Purchased the High Bohn plus Bohnaparte expansion for Bohnanza over Christmas. This really turns the game into a challenge and add a little more complexity to it that I wish the base game had (and would raise the age to maybe 11+). I know this would double the price, but I would highly recommend anybody buying Bohnanza to purchase the expansion also. It removed any dislikes I had for the game and I would give it five stars when combined.

   This is a great game for adults as well as kids… my 6 and 7 year old love it!! My sister-in-law introduced the game to us and now all our extended family and friends are playing it.

   This is a more casual “board game” you can play with 3-8 people. The rules are very easy to pick up for new players. I’ve found people are generally more willing to try this out. Then you introduce them to the longer or more complicated games…

   The best part of this game is the interaction with other players, where you trade beans with them.

   This game is awesome! I play a lot of games and this is a really fun game. It feels like it moves pretty fast and it’s fun on anybody’s turn. The best thing about this game is that it’s fun to play with any amount of people from 2-7. I play just me and my wife a lot and it’s one of the best two player games we have found (Since she doesn’t like Risk and games like that.) But it’s great to be able to play with 3, 4, 5, 6, or even 7! It allows me to play it in almost every scenario and it’s easy to learn and fun!

   This is an awesome family game. The concept is simple, and it encourages interactions. Never thought my mom (at 62 years old) would be having so much fun playing with my wife and I. This is her first modern boardgame and she is loving it. The cool thing is she never had the patience for old games like checkers/monopoly even, but she is asking to play this again. Great family game.

   This is a great game to play with friends or family! It took me about twenty minutes to get the hang of it, and I like that it doesn’t take too long to play. It’s a fun game when you aren’t quite in the mood for a normal card game or a lengthy strategy game.

   The product is almost exactly like the card game you could buy in a game store. Only difference is is that there is a larger gap of yellow on the bottom but that makes no difference. Cards came new and in plastic.

    This is an incredible game. Explaining the concept is very difficult, but you will not want to stop playing. For your first game or two, take it slow and focus on the order of events. Once you get the hang of things, it gets more and more fun. I’ve had games that lasted no longer than 35 minutes and others that hit the two hour mark. There are many different approaches to strategy and teamwork, making each game different from the last. I’ve never had a boring game and I rarely have to coerce someone into playing. Trust me, you’ll be hooked.

    When I ordered this originally this game was so hard to find. Like impossible. But it’s the best game ever so I don’t understand why. Now you can find it at small, specialty game shops but if you don’t have those you won’t ever find this. It came sealed in plastic wrap and all the pieces were there. And now I can force everyone to learn this game so I can finally play a game that I’ll win.
