   I ordered a board that cost about half of this one. Kept it long enough to send it back. Board was warped, checkers were thin and cheap, stitching was awful. I was going to give up on the online thing until I saw this one. Best decision ever. The case is well made and nice with a handle. The playing surface is smooth, soft, and stitch free. The checkers are thick and have weight. I could not be more pleased with this set. Grab one before they are gone.

   Everything about this set is fabulous. I read a few lousy reviews, but I have no regrets. 5 out of 5. Love the large, heavy pieces, and the 19″ is great to play on.

   If you’re looking for a higher-quality set than the $40-60 flimsy stuff that’s out there, but don’t want to spring for the $600 luxury sets, this kit stands right in the sweet spot and delivers high quality construction along with attractive colors and overall design. The large 1.5-inch checkers fit perfectly on the points as can be seen from the product images. If I had one criticism, it would be that the latches on the case seem loose and don’t snap closed as tightly as I would prefer, but they hold everything closed just fine. Oh, and I guess also if I were being nit-picky, the checkers don’t slide quite as smoothly on the surface as I would prefer. But I’m really being picky here and I’m comparing a $130 set against $600+ sets in terms of quality. At this price point, this set cannot be beat. It feels like a quality set and should last a long time. Highly recommended for the price.

   I love my new backgammon set, it is the top of the line!! I love the craftsmanship, the weight of it, the smooth felt-like board, the cups are well made hardly any noise, the large game pieces, the colors I chose (GO BROWNS) handle/ latches!! Just everything is perfect. Don’t fool with the cheaper sets go for this one and you’ll be extremely happy, I know I am!!

   This was ordered because it was SUPPOSEDLY a quality product! Premium?? HA!! I PAID a premium price, I DID NOT GET A PREMIUM PRODUCT 😤. Upon opening it THE FRIST TIME (you can see that the plastic covering is still on the pieces in the attached photos) the latch fell apart! 🤯🤬😡.     Initially, I ordered the purple. The purple is pretty, but I quickly realized the felt was too light. Only because me and my children are good for playing while eating chicken wings or something! lol I figured we would have the game looking a mess, so I returned it for the brown and I am soooooo pleased. Perfect for the foodie and the teenagers or young people. The quality was wonderful for the price and the brown was discounted. I would have gotten the green one, but my mother ordered the green one; and it too is beautiful. But the brown is amazing. Wish Silverman provided chips other than black and white though. But I most definitely recommend this set.
