   Este pandemic legacy ha sido el mejor juego que he jugado de manera cooperativa, es una campaña que puede durar entre 12 y 24 partidas, (honestamente no creo que pueda durar menos de 16) en el que cada partida, avanzas en la historia, desbloqueas nuevas reglas o componentes del juego y vas modificando rl juego a tu manera, a decir será diferentes para cada copia de este juego, no es complicado ido pero tampoco es tan fácil ya que conforme sigas avanzando se irán sumando reglas tras reglas y a pesar de no que no son complicadas después si son muchas, una vez terminada la campaña ya se acabo y no hay buelfs atrás a menos que no hayas destruido componentes y puedes resetear los stickers del mapa.

   This is our second Legacy game (Machi Koro Legacy was out first) and it’s a blast! It starts almost identical to the original Pandemic, but morphs after every play-through, adding components, modifying rules, and unfolding a compelling narrative. We’re about halfway through and I’m considering picking up the “red edition” for a second run-through. The different color editions have identical gameplay, it is only to help keep things organized if two separate games are running.

   We love Pandemic, the standard game has been a staple for us for a long time, the cooperative and unpredictable game scenarios that come up are some very exciting fun and we continue to play and enjoy it. Let me just say though, WOW, Pandemic Legacy completely and totally takes the game you know and love stirs it up and makes it even more dangerous and tricky to try and navigate. We are about 1/3 of the way through the game and have loved everything thrown at us, win or lose, it does not matter because there is enjoyment to be had and lessons learned regardless. We are excited to continue playing more of the scenarios we have left but also don’t want to go through them too quickly. I can easily say that only this far into the legacy game I know we will purchase season 2 and season 0 eventually. There is no question of that they will build upon what we already know and present even more fun challenges. I personally feel things are very well balanced and there are very fine tuned elements that will correct and adjust games as they unfold. Everything feels natural and there is an ongoing narrative playing out in each episode that we play that is great both thematically and in game play. I do believe I would have to recommend that you’ve played Pandemic before buying this. The instructions even mention this as well, your base knowledge of how the standard game operates and your familiarity with things is pretty important to hitting a smooth start to the campaign. However, I don’t believe you need to be expert players, even the base game has difficulty ratings you can increase and you don’t need to be able to beat it at its highest difficultly level before playing Pandemic Legacy, just knowing how things operate and a basic understanding of the rules will put this game on your radar and be one you should check out. I cannot wait to continue playing this and look forwards to both the ending and the other Legacy games in the Pandemic series. I would rate our experience playing this a 10/10 without question. I hope you’ll enjoy this one as much as we have!

   This was #1 on BoardGameGeek quite recently. If you believe in the cult of the old this is #1 ignoring games released in the last 5 years. Standard Pandemic, which this is based on, is ranked at #83, and in the cult of the old reckoning would be #53 ignoring games released in the last 5 years, and #21 ignoring games released in the last 10 years. Very very impressive considering the stiff competition. I’ve played through this prior to purchasing it for myself, and consider it a work of art. My one concern is, due to the legacy format, keeping all the components re-usable. Some extra effort and book-keeping will certainly be required here, but it’s do-able.

   First off, let me start by saying how much my husband and I love playing Pandemic. We’ve played the regular game over 100x and it’s still exciting and challenging for us. We finally decided to buy Legacy Season 1 (blue) and it is worth every damn penny. – The game is similar to Pandemic so if you’re familiar with the OG game, then you’ll get a kick out of the Legacy game. The writers are so creative and the game is interesting and fun, with lots of exciting new things to look forward to (ie: New characters, new actions, new virus, new structures, new rules, etc.) – LOVE opening new packages, revealing new storylines, scratching off scratchers. I just hate how much trash it produces, and I hate the idea of permanently throwing away cards. The scratch-off element is fun but it gets messy. – It’s a fantastic activity for couples, a group of friends, and family. I love that it’s a co-op game and it’s not competitive. There is still a drive to win, but it’s a collective goal that brings people together. My husband and I loved it so much we finished it in 1 week! We just bought Legacy Season 2. – Only downside is the end of the game. Once the game ends, you’re kind of left with a lot of useless pieces and cards. You can still play Pandemic the regular way, but the new game is basically thrown out the door. There are stickers that you add to the board that won’t have any meaning once the game is over, but they are easy enough to scratch off and remove. You can still restore the game to the original setting, but I already have the OG Pandemic! I don’t need another one. I wish there was a package you can purchase to play with the original game instead of buying a brand new game. It’s hard to explain unless you’ve played this. Overall, no regrets! I just wish the game never ended and that it lasted longer!
