Kinda pricey and its fun to play but – reading the massive rule book is a game changer – need to streamline it into a simpler game
Anthony W Belmonte Verified Buyer –
If you want to play out WW2 at a nice big scale, so you don’t get bogged down in minutiae, this game is great. But (as is often the case) the rules are way longer than they need to be, mostly because they’re not terribly well organized. Still, a good game when you get into it.

Nice revamp of the Third Reich game from Avalon Hill.

Not a game for the novice; the rule set will require some well-earned dedication. Expanding on Adv 3R by Avalon Hill, this GMT offering is balanced — and will give the seasoned player a fair, well-rounded approach to both the Atlantic and Pacific Theaters. While “variants” are missing, Diplomacy and Advanced Technology (Atomic Research/V-2 Rockets) should allow for enough variability to explore “what-if” contingencies. Highly recommend.

Recieved ahead of schedule.
I would say this is between axis and allies/ world in flames in complexity. Already played North Africa scenario and Britain easily won on defense, but very quick learning to battle air/ land forces.
