Nice beginner set for granddaughter. Very pretty but board edges could be sanded a bit better. Knights are also a bit rough and one has crack from top to bottom. Hopefully it stays in one piece but if not the company’s warranty says they will replace it. I like the magnetic closure instead of metal clasps found on most folding sets. Magnetic pieces are not particularly strong but probably strong enough to hold their position if bumped. All in all I’m pleased with this purchase.

Even fit for the famous Broadmoor! I bought this piece for the winners table at this chess tournament part of their event. The pieces fit nicely stored away, and are a (strong enough) magnetic! The other set that was purchased was magnetic but not strong enough. They are carved beautifully and is great quality! I love this set.

Even the box that it came in was beautiful. The cardboard is thick. I thought it was the case at first. The set itself it beautiful. I love it. This is my first chess set.
