   El mejor juego cooperativo de mazmorras de rol que he jugado, la calidad de los materiales es buena o muy buena, y está todo muy bien presentado. Los manuales tienen bastantes páginas, pero son muy claros y contienen numerosos ejemplos, no se me ha hecho tan difícil como otros comentan, la primera partida tardas un poco más y luego va todo fluido, dentro de que es un juego al que se le debe prestar atención, hay que estar al tanto de numerosas fichas, cartas etc Si buscas un juego cooperativo básico y sencillo, no es tu juego, en cambio si buscas un juego con posibilidades tácticas, evolución y posibilidades de personaje, miniaturas de calidad, y unas misiones bien pensadas, no lo dudes. Especialmente recomendado para aquellos que quieran jugar en solitario, aunque con más de tres héroes la logística de cartas, fichas etc se complica un poco.

   If you’re accustomed to playing 2nd ed Descent where an app does all the thinking for you, stay away from this game. The rule book isn’t terribly well written and you’ll find yourself frequently on the Board Game Geek forums talking to the Sword & Sorcery designers to clarify rules. that being said, I’ve dealt with much worse rulebooks. Once you get the rules though, the game is brilliant. Immersive, innovative monster AI, and classic player characters make this my go-to dungeon crawl. I was so happy to have a new dungeon crawl that wasn’t a euro style resource management game. I’m an adult. All I do is resource management! After the daily frustrations of real world resource management, I wanna go into a fantasy world and kill bad guys! S&S allows me to do just that.

   Absolutely awesome game. The story is great, choices you can make affect the story and gameplay. Excellent combat system, and the game system ensures that each play through is completely random. Don’t be intimidated by the 54 page rulebook. Many examples are given throughout, and for any other questions, the boardgamegeek forums are very helpful, with inputs from the game designer himself. As for the minis, they look great. Mine came a little bit bendy in some parts (one of the character’s swords was curved like a scimitar), although dipping them in hot water straightened them out. All in all, 10/10 game, as long as you don’t mind reading the lengthy rulebook!

   It’s already hit the table about 3 times in 1 week and the reviews are in. Keep it on the table. It’s one of the easiest, smoothest dungeon crawler games that I’ve played. Character customization is nice, options are good. Not many options in monsters to fight, but I changed out some of the miniatures from Conan to capture the true spirit of Sword and Sorcery. (I personally like low fantasy in my S&S) I like how the game handles death, shopping for gear is fun. Rulebook is thick but most of it is easy to understand. Do yourself a favor and download the double sided cheat sheet from BBG and you’ll have a easier learning experience. Some of the youtube videos are too long and they screw up trying to teach it but if you’re a visual learner it doesn’t hurt to watch set up and the initial turn sequences.

   This game is strategy rich with cool dice and components. Success is determined by planning and strategic play. The luck factor is low. Only negative is that there are tons of rules and modifiers to master but once you get used to gameplay it will move at a fast pace.

    The game has mid/advanced rules and demands a bit of learning time until we get familiar with them.
    The components are all in great quality and it offers great hours of fun.

    Aside from some miniatures bent the game is awesome. Nice Dungeon Crawler, me and my group played the game from 12PM to 3AM almost non stop. Be advised, the rules are heavy, so many things going on and so many rules to have on mind

    Le meccaniche racchiudono tutti i concetti di RPG e GDR classici. Non manca niente, infatti ci vuole molto per consolidare le conoscenze e giocare spediti, le prime 5 partite sarete sempre con il manuale in mano ogni 10 minuti a meno che non spendiate 6 ore a studiarlo a memoria. Una volta avviato non si può chiedere di meglio. I materiali sono scarsi, per il prezzo che ha mi aspettavo di meglio, plastiche molto pieghevoli, cartone e carte abbastanza grezzi al tatto, ma niente di grave. A me è arrivata una versione difettosa, probabilmente usata. Si vede dalle foto. Manca anche lo scudo del paladino. Si può giocare da 1 a 5 senza problemi, anche con più di un personaggio a testa. Difficoltà medio alta, non è esattamente un no-brain game. Tante cose da tenere a mente nel calcolo danni.

    This game is fun, but it has lots of rules, and lots of tokens to sort through. Also my box came broken, as other shoppers have stated. I’m enjoying playing, but probably won’t pick up any of the expansions.
