Me gusta este juego. Compré esta expansión porque tenía el juego base en su versión en inglés. Además, el diseño más gusta más que el de la última edición.

I love the addition of the roof and new rooms, omens, and items. The small characters tokens to add to rooms that have already added to a character’s stats are helpful. The dumbwaiters are a great addition. It would have been cool to have some new characters as well but I can understand how that might mess up the dynamics. We found one of the haunts unplayable (Haunt 84 wtf?) but the others so far have been a blast. It’s a very fun game. Highly recommended for enthusiasts.

Not going to lie, if you have the Betrayal at House on The Hill core set, why are you reading this just get it already!
Those that never played the game before…..
Do you like playing Clue? Do you like B rated horror films? Love strategy games that provide random game stories?
The do I have a game for you!!!
Yes, it does have several little pieces but nothing a sandwich bad cannot handle. After you grasp how to play, you will not want to stop. I always try to get company to play when we have time.
If I had to say anything about it that I would wish were different, its that the “attic” cards had more attic only ones and the new mechanic to travel to any floor . It personally made exploring slightly more challenging and easy all at the same time.
Overall I will still be getting any and all expansions they release!

Double the fun with an additional half of the original price. Some haunts are good, some are a bit complicated, but you are able to choose if you wish not to play any haunt. Box seems too big for its contents, wasting logistical resources and materials.

I love the new expansion. More rooms, fantastic new haunts, interesting omens.
The new mechanic of dumb-waiters is also really useful for anyone on a 5-6 room path away from the landings.
The character tokens are also useful for remembering which room buffs we’ve already received. Though, they are very easily lost being so small.
One of my favorite new cards is the “What year is it?” event card that causes either side to read the flavor text, thus giving the other side some advantage during the haunt. Of the new omens, box is the most amusing, cat is one of the most powerful.
The only downside is I may have to invest in a bigger table in order to play with a full group. The original game just barely fit on the table with all rooms played.

I got this together with the main game. This expansion allows more replay ability to the game and I love it.
