   I should have known better with the low price of the board. It started falling apart soon after arriving. The black leather case has come unglued along with the interior which we have glued several times. I will never purchase this board again

   Beautifully well made board, but too big for our needs. I was trying to replace a board we lost and didn’t realize how large this one measured. Great for having around the house and pulling out when needed but too big for travel. Doesn’t come with a handle so you can easily carry it either.

   Very nice except for one edge of the stitched elements is something that should not have passed quality assurance for a board over $50. So much goes into paying for a very nice set it’s sad when it arrives like this. I’d have probably mistakenly blamed it on the kids if I hadn’t opened it myself. Actually, after 2 minutes I realized the side elements are coming off so it’s going back so the company can improve qualify. Saw another post with pics of sides pulling apart too.

   I love the set – it’s beautiful and well crafted. My only complaint is that the stones were so light that we had difficulty picking them up and moving them around the board, and the dice were very small. I ordered a set of stones separately to replace these. When they arrive, my set will be perfect. (I hope)

   My dad and I are long-time Backgammon rivals and his tiny board just wasn’t cutting it. For Christmas, I wanted to get him a nice solid board that wasn’t going to break the bank. I initially bought a wooden inlay board, which was beautiful, until he made the off-handed comment that he prefers felt boards.

   Anyway, this one is awesome. It’s the perfect size, not too small, not too big, and it’s just right for us. It’s not overly fancy, but is well constructed. The felt has not rubbed off and the edges on the points (which are sewn on) have not curled up or anything like that.

   I would definitely recommend this if you’re looking for a solid, no frills board.

   Great quality, all’s good. Only little comment is the clasp that holds the case closed is very flimsy and I wouldn’t trust it if I were to grab it by the handle. This is only a true complaint because of the price. I would have hoped that all details would have been solidly crafted for this price.
   Gave as a gift and they seem to love it so that’s good!

    The colors and materials are really nice. The pieces have a nice weight, and the felt liner makes it nice and quiet. The dice are nice too. Was worried the stitching would get in the way of moving the pieces, but it’s not a problem. Weird there’s no handle, but that’s a small complaint. Bought on for me and one for a gift. Be sure, if it’s a gift, to say so. One came without an outer box and the shipping label was right on the item box. love it
