Was genuinely surprised at the quality of the board, bowls, and stones for this price. The additional niceties of the board cover, bowl straps and carrying case are very welcome as well and will help in keeping the set in great condition for some time to come. Everything about this set is great. The stones, board, and bowls are all good quality for a good price, and they travel and stow well with a protective covering for the board, velcro to hold the bowls together, and a carrying case for the bowl.
My set of stones was missing a black stone and had a few extra white stones. I contacted their customer service, and after some back and forth confirming what was wrong with the order, they sent me extra black stones free of charge. Very responsive and greatly appreciated.
I definitely recommend this set and company.

With a set like this, who needs (shin)kaya and yunzi? The melamine stones have a nice feel to them and are a good size. The board is hefty and has a nice finish to it, the grid is also centered without any defects. I thought the grain would be distracting, but it really isn’t. The bowls are really nice, too. They come with straps to keep them from spilling, and the bag is a very nice addition for transport and storing. I thought the case for the board would be made of cheap vinyl, but it’s felt that closes with a velcro. Still better than nothing as I can protect my board. Worth the money.

I have no negative points. It’s an elegant thing for me to display and occasionally use at home. Learning, practicing, and competing is best done on apps/websites, but it’s nice to have the game in its original form if there’s an apocalypse and I get bored while in a fallout shelter. Not easy to travel with, it’s kind of heavy, being a solid piece of wood. But they try their best to make it portable with the provided bowling ball bag. So go ahead and set it up in your fallout shelter so you don’t have to lug it around.
