Years ago I purchased this exact game for my son who is now 46 but was maybe 10 at the time. My son said this is what took his math to new levels. He loved this game so I purchased one for my grandson for Christmas that loves baseball. 🤞🤞he loves it too.

Ballpark effect chart based on all players and averaged out. Its pretty harsh and definitely favors pitchers. No weather effects chart included referenced in the instruction manual. Game is based on 270 Hall of Famers and is superb. Have had many Strat-O-Matic games since the 1970’s and they never disappoint. This game has all Hall of Famers through 2020 so sadly missed the ’21 class with Oliva & Kaat of my Twins. Players cards are based on the average of each players best 7 seasons so all players cards are very exceptional except a few players I question deserved to be in the Hall of Fame as their numbers were so far below 95% of the true stars. Might be hard to play a season given the old-timers batting stats were so high before about 1950 with many batting averages exceeding .350 and some as high as .390. I’m not sure the more recent pitchers after 1950 or even the old-time pitchers can compete with all that offense but will be fun to see. Despite my disappointment about the ballparks and weather effects game is highly recommended and reasonably priced. Thank-you.
