When we were kids, my buddy would come over and we’d play this for hours. We hadn’t seen each other for about 30+ years, and when we did reconnect he reminded me of a time that we played and he royally kicked my butt over and over again. Turns out, I was wearing a pair of those Aviator type sunglasses (with the mirror front), and he was reading my ship placement in the reflection. We laughed so hard! So, for Christmas this year I got him this, and of course, a pair of Aviator mirror front sunglasses.

J’ai l’original, incomplet, la tentation d’acheter cette édition, pour en être déçu, une imitation, moins bonne qualité, la finition est nettement moins bien que l’original. Mais la compatibilité avec l’ancienne, qui a permis de compléter l’original et de mettre de coté celle-ci. Dessus vu le prix on s’attend a réellement un produit conforme. Donc ne coté collection est a oublier, autant prendre les autres versions plus économique.

Found that the peg holes were not well drilled out, so they initially grabbed the pegs and the ships. With a little quick electric drilling, this problem was solved very quickly and now it is perfect working order. BUT, it was not from the get go, soooooo plan on a little time before all is perfecto.

Looks like the ones I played with as a teenager (when we graduated form pencil and paper!) Did draw over the letters and numbers with black permo as they were clear and a little hard to see- but we have already had many happy hours playing with this. The plastic containers are well made and keep everything intact. Enjoyed by 50 plus year olds, 20-30 year olds ,and our granddaughter who has autism loves it! Well worth buying. Thank you

I had originally purchased the electronic version, but we were very disappointed by the lack of ability to input the locations of the ships. Too much work for no great return. Because of the way it was set up, it was too easy for your opponent to “accidentally” look at the locations of your ships. However, the kids seemed to like the game in general so I went ahead and bought the classic version. The game board is actually larger than the electronic version – one extra horizontal and one extra vertical row. Ships fit in well. Fairly easy to read the letters and numbers. Great storage space for the pegs and ships in each game board. Easy to learn game – can play fairly quickly in about 20 minutes – great family game.
My one only complaint is that the pegs don’t really fit well into the holes – they kind of just set in there loosely. One bump of your board and the pegs are bound to fall out.
