Gave as a Christmas gift, and we haven’t had a chance to play it yet, but the item arrived quickly and well packaged. The bits look FANTASTIC, and from the reviews I’ve read online, it looks to be a lot of fun.

Overall the game is enjoyable and the contents are high quality. However, my box set did not include the manual and it was purchased as a gift so not returnable. I contacted the publisher to see if I could be sent one, but no one responded. I would be amenable to changing this review if they would just send me a manual.

It is a board game but with a lot of depth almost like D&D. So far I have enjoyed it, the rules at times can be hard to follow and I feel like I have to spend a lot of time on discord asking questions. There isn’t a large following for this one like Descent so the answers are not going to be anywhere online if you confused about something. The tokens are confusing and there is not a place in the rules that explain what each thing is so you pretty much make use of whatever you “think” it is for. The minis are great and seem thick so won’t break easily but you don’t get near enough of them and there is no mini pack available so you have to buy an entire full game to get more minis for it.

I just got my game today, and I’m so excited for it. I am, however, so disappointed that the rule book is a separate (and expensive) add on. This game only comes with a “quick start” guide. I guess I won’t be getting the full effect of this already expensive board game

OK.. First game I’ve ever bought and then returned. The picture clearly shows the Advanced Rule Book included with the $89 price and the description even references the non-existant campaign game with dozens of scnearios, but it doesn’t come in the game. (Yes, this was the one time when I did not read the reviews carefully, as this was pointed out by some other gamers here.) The rule book which comes with the full game is only a quick start guide with 8 simple missions. The game has some nice minis, two decks of cards, some punch out markers, and the playing board…that’s it …for $89. Probably should have been priced around $29.. Now the book looks amazing.. it sure should at a $50 price tag for a book. No way i’m putting out another $50 after this experience.
