- WHAT LETTER DO I START WITH: It’s a race to the finish to see who can cover the pictures that match the letter card. This fast paced, competitive game will have the whole family on the edge of their seat. You might have to get creative too. Does this picture count as B for Bird or E for Eagle?
- MAKE LEARNING FUN: When your child knows their alphabet but it’s still working on reading, this game is perfect for getting a jump start on learning letter and sound association which is essential in phonics. They’ll be learning their letters and sounds without even knowing it because they’ll be having so much fun.
- FAMILY FRIENDLY GAME: Even if you and your kids all know how to read, this game is still a family favorite. It’s a race to see who can find 10 items beginning on the letter card first. As everyone gets older and learns their letters better, the game becomes more intense and competitive. You never thought letters could be so much fun.
- HOW TO PLAY: Pick a letter card and place it on the center of the game board. Can you find the pictures that start with that letter? Be the first to place all of you playing pieces over the pictures that begin with each letter to win. If your letter card is “F” you have to be the first one to find things like frogs and football until you run out of your colored chips.
- PRODUCT SPECIFICATIONS: Package contains (1) What Letter Do I Start With? Family Board Game from Game Zone by International Playthings. Includes 4 doubled sided game boards, 26 letter cards, and 40 plastic colored playing pieces (10 each of 4 colors). Designed for 2-4 players. Recommended for ages 4+.

Kindergarteners I work with are living this game

This is a nice board game for kids. Even if your kids can’t quite spell all the words yet, it’s a nice way of learning. But it’s also great for a little older kids(6-7) so they can challenge each other who can find the pictures fastest.

I am a kindergarten teacher and had great hopes for this to play with my students working on their letter sound development. However, it is poorly produced and does not have anywhere near enough pieces of each color (per player) to actually play the game. Would really NOT recommend this product. If I hadn’t had to open to find out how useless it was I would have returned it ASAP.

My 4 year old loves this game and I love that he’s learning while having fun

I bought this game for my 5 year old niece and she loved it. The only potentially negative thing i will say is that the pictures are cartoon-like and some of the animals are confusing (is that a bear? a dog? a bunny?). I think if I had to choose I would have picked pictures that looked closer to the real animal especially since the age range for this game is 6+. I could see using the cartoonish, almost baby-like characters for a younger age.
