Overview
- COOPERATE TO WIN: Work with the player on your left to build one castle while simultaneously working with the player on your right to build a second castle. On each turn you select two tiles from your hand, reveal them, then work with your partners to place one of your selected tiles into each of your two castles.
- SCORE: Your final score is the lower of the scores of the two castles you helped design, and the player with the highest final score wins the game. To win, you have to share your attention and your devotion equally between two castles.
- GREAT TEACHING GAME: This game is an excellent way to teach strategy and planning, while working together. Works wonderfully as a gateway game!
- SHORT SET UP AND PLAY TIME: With a short set up time, you can jump into a game quickly, making it easy to get to the table frequently. Play with 1-8 players in about 30 minutes, making this a great evening game for after dinner!
- INCLUDES EXPANSION: The Essential Edition combines the original game and the Secrets & Soirees expansion into one box. Secrets & Soirees increases the play count to 1-8 players, includes 2 new room types, a new specialty room type, more bonus cards, and a new throne room.
