    Notice anything in the picture? They gave us two kings instead of a queen for white! It’s also very cheaply made, with uneven pieces glued together. All pieces are very light as well. I was embarrassed to give this as a gift.

    This was not the chess board I thought I was getting. The quality is not quite what it appears in the preview pictures and neither is it’s interior. However, after spending just shy of $70 getting it here in the US, I decided to keep the set. This is very subjective but two things made all the difference: the beautiful look and color of the board, and the overall character of the set as a whole. Is it worth the price? Definitely not at first glance, but after just two or three games I love this set, crooked pieces and all.

    The set is overpriced for what you get. I’ll keep it because I like the colors, but it’s just a cheap chess set. It’s about the same quality as a set from the toys/games section as any big box store. It was a big letdown.
