   Hard to learn and has a lot of haters. I like it a lot tho. It’s so pretty and I love pretending I’m a Victorian collecting plants. The girls who get it get it. It’s not a game for super competitive people – it’s a game for ladies and gentlemen of refined taste and a love of the Natural Sciences.

   This is the best game we’ve purchased in quite a while. The artwork and attention to details are so spectacular and the stories on the event cards really takes you on a journey. I buy a lot of games, (too many) but won’t ever hesitate to buy more from these folks. I’ve already pre-purchased the next game ‘Le Fleur’ and am going to purchase their third game ‘Artistry’ just as soon as it is available. Please, give this game a shot!

   My wife and I have really enjoyed playing this game together— so far we’ve only played it with two players, but we are looking forward to introducing it to our friends. It is beautifully designed and built with high quality materials. It is a fun and engaging way to pass the time, with unique mechanics that require players to develop a clear strategy and think several turns ahead in order to stand any chance of surpassing their peers and becoming the Queen’s botanist!

   I bought this game for my husband for Christmas and we really enjoyed our first time playing it! The instructions are pretty complicated/confusing, but once we got into it the game play is really fun. The event cards are all really funny and we had some good laughs. Everything in the game is made of high quality materials. With two people, the game went on for a couple hours but it might go faster with more people. I’d say it was worth the money, and it would be a great party game for botany nerds!

   I fell in love with this game. I found it through boardgamesweekly.com by accident when it popped up one morning as a recommendation. I purchased the expansion packs with the game. The rules were a little confusing and bland, but it made more sense during actual gameplay. There’s room for additional rules or change what doesn’t make sense. The gameplay can take over two hours, but we never found it boring. I’ve recommended this game to all my plant loving friends.

   This game is amazing. It’s fun, easy to follow. Just keep the rule book handy. Playing alone is as much fun as with a group. I don’t follow the “play alone” instructions. I just play against the bank to improve strategy and beat my previous score. The character cards represent great diversity. Note: the flower on the die is “one”. There are a few errors in the instructions that are easily remedied if all players agree. I highly recommend this beautiful game.

   Seems like a super fun game we just could never get into it because the gameplay is so complicated. Beautiful looking game though and seems like a cool concept.

   One of the more fun games we’ve purchased lately. Takes a while to get the hang of it, and you need to plan to settle in for a while, but as gameplay unfolds the game comes alive. The artwork is beautiful, there’s a lot of strategy involved, and ultimately it’s one of those games that makes you feel like you got a bargain on it and would expect it to be much more expensive.
