This is a great educational tool to use while also getting the feel of “gaming” for kids! Wish it was a little cheaper so each of my kids had their own. The code didn’t get us free access to an account so I had to contact customer support. They were very helpful in creating accounts for my kids.

What a let down. We thought for $49.99 that we would get the product PLUS the app using the activation code. Upon typing in the activation code, there is a glitch that says my email was already in use, which is not accurate as I have never used this program. I tried another email and it said the same thing. Sadly this is a hoax, and if you want the full program capabilities, you have to pay $3.99/month or $19.99 per year to use it on top of the $49.99. boardgamesweekly.com has been notified and they refunded me and are filing a report with Bloxels.

I can’t believe I paid $48 for a tray and tiles. I was under the impression that my kid would be able to scan in her creations to an app and play those characters immediately. The box arrived with no seal or plastic so I was skeptical that something was missing. I tried to register the product to use the app and it kept telling me my email had been used already. We spent 20 minutes in Christmas Day trying to get it up and running to no avail. When my husband downloaded the app he saw several reviews from customers that they had to pay yet another fee to use the software. The value for the money spent left much to be desired.
