   I had all my pieces and I love the Dice and the metallic look on the roads. I had all my pieces as well. The only slight complaint I would have is that the one corner of the box was a little messed up but nothing too serious.

   After reading numerous reviews by other customers stating that they had received knockoff copies of the game with shoddy craftsmanship and missing components, the first thing I did was count out my pieces to make sure everything added up correctly and that the quality was good. Thankfully it appears that I did receive an authentic set, as I have the correct numbers of pieces that the manual states I should have, and the workmanship on everything seems relatively on par (one or two of my houses look a little lopsided but I don’t care). My copy of the game was sold and shipped by boardgamesweekly.com specifically, so circumventing a third-party seller is likely what ensured I got what I wanted. I’m excited to play! (For what it’s worth, at the time of this review, I’m seeing that it’s actually a few dollars cheaper to buy the original base game and 5-6 player expansion separately if others are keen on getting the best deal possible. I’ve never played with the ‘Helpers’ scenario so I have no idea if it’s worth the premium).

   So as other reviewers stated I got a defective city and the cards are a bit thin. Not too upset at the cards because the game also came with protective sleeves for them! Still super excited about the different paint and 10 “helper cards”. Me and my whole family love this game and it’s definitely not the only one in the house so the city isn’t the end of the world, but would love to replace just that piece if possible?? Otherwise great game and some awesome new additions to base Catan.

   Since the game was being delivered to me from another country I was afraid that the box will be messed up. But, the box was in a very good condition maybe a very tiny squeeze in one of the corner but it needs to be focused to find it.

   Overall the game is much fun and I’m surprised by the game quality I can assume this is the first really good quality board game that I have ever got.

   I like that they have added also plastic cover for each card for protection.

   Definitely worth it!

   There’s a lot of complaints about how peoples boxes came damaged or they had missing pieces. Don’t let this deter or discourage you from getting your own set. I think this happens is because boardgamesweekly.com doesn’t quality check the distributors, so it’s important to make sure you’re buying from boardgamesweekly.com. My set came with all the pieces and delivered in perfect condition! Pictured is only the game pieces because most of the complaints for for missing game board pieces. I did not take pictures but I made sure to take inventory of every item that was listed in the manual, and I had a complete set! If you ever have problems with your purchase, don’t forget you can always call boardgamesweekly.com and ask for a return/return.

   The 25th Anniversary pack is the best! It has both the standard and expansion kit in one box and makes it so easy to keep together. Also LOVE the players cards it comes with. It adds such a fun layer to an already great game.

    I played this game for the first time with my brothers (in their 40s) last weekend and played it with my 6 and 8 year old children today, making it fun for so many ages! The 25th anniversary addition is superbly constructed and came with card protectors to keep the game in great condition for many years of continued fun.

    Played Catan with my friends a few times and bought one for my home so they didn’t have to carry it around. Went with the 25th Anniversary Edition since it was available, and no disappointments here! Nothing fancy, but comes with the expansion, helpers, card sleeves and card holder (very useful) in a nicely thought out container. Fun game with friends and family!

    Bought 25th anniversary edition in black friday sale. The set is very well made, the pieces and tiles look and feel so nice in front of you. The hexes fit together very well, the box is very well laid out, easy to take to parties, contains everything needed for 3-6 players.

    If you havent got Catan yet this is the version to get, especially if you can get it for £50 or less like I did.

    Can’t believe it, but I’m missing a blue road.

    I always think the people reviewing, saying they are missing pieces, are crazy and that they obviously misplaced it themselves. Well, here I am. Make sure to count all of your pieces. I am missing one blue road, and I was sure to double check that I hadn’t dropped it somewhere or misplaced it. I hope they see this and send me a replacement.

    Other than that, everything came with the game as was supposed to. The quality is fine. Can’t wait to play it.
