I am a huge fan of Downton Abbey and loved playing Clue as a kid. I love this version because of the Downton Abbey theme but also it is family friendly. Instead of solving a murder you are solving a theft. My 10 year old loves it as much as I do.

The game is just like the original version of Clue, except that some of the rooms are renamed, the objects are missing items rather than murder weapons, and the suspects are all familiar characters from Downton Abbey. If you like Clue, you’ll enjoy this game, which is played the same way.

It’s fun to play this version of clue if you’re a Downton fan. The pieces are different than the original clue game. There’s literally card board cut outs of the characters you see on the box that slide into a stand so you’re character can move around the board.
What’s different as well is that the dice has a magnifying glass on a couple sides and if you roll the magnifying glass you pick up a card That has a magnifying glass symbol on it and read what it says. I felt that drawing these magnifying glass cards made the game go faster than a typical game of clue because more cards from other players were revealed.
My family had a good time reading off the magnifying glass cards because we would use British accents to try to sound like our character to make it interesting Haha.
