I’ve really enjoyed the game so far. I recommend doing a bit of research on it before you buy to see if it is for you. The mechanics take a little investment to truly understand, you will be referencing the player aids a lot, but everything about it is very well thought out and well organized. Component quality is good, they actually give you some extra pieces in case you lose some as well. Things can be a little abstracted from time to time, but overall it is very thematic, everything has a reason explained in the manual as to why it is. There is a decent amount of luck, but many ways to mitigate, though I would approach this more as a story telling game than a hardcore strategy title. You can lose to luck sometimes, but this is definitely a game you can get better at. The AI system is very well done and very easy to use, and even forms a neat back and forth with enemies reacting more often as you act more aggressively. Easy recommendation.
