I’m legally blind. That said, I can still spot a slice of peach pie 10 feet away. I received this lovely board and somehow, the black crokes bag fell onto our busy, dark Persian rug. I thought that they were missing, when indeed, they lurked in the shadows beneath me. I contacted the vendor before doing the diligent detecting, and they were absolutely lovely in wanting to make good on my concern. I felt like a total goose when I discovered the bag of black crokes, and somehow, the vendor hasn’t had me stricken from Santa’s list. I think… OH, this is a game for all ages, especially for youngsters and their grand parents. It teaches counting, physical acuity, geometry, and gamesmanship. I bought 6 cheaper boards long ago to use in my Special Ed classrooms. It was a fab learning tool that had the kids eager to play Crokinole.

my husband has Alzheimer Disease, he no longer can read, play cards watching TV is frustrating, so many of the things he used to enjoy are not something he can do. I bought this Crokonole board in the hopes that he would still remember how to play; as it was a board game from his childhood. Well he is acing this !
We play often; not nescessarily counting our scores every time; but just playing for fun. If we were counting scores; he would be winning every game. This is a wonderful board, not just because it is great for us but the workmanship is amazing! the board shows the wonderful craftmanship of a great carpenter; Thanks , from us it is the best board we have ever had the chance to play upon. As to what age this board game is suitable ; I would say any age after seven or eight; (depending on the child); right up to our age of 80! We actually had a tournament during our Christmas family gathering!
