   I love the colors in this set – even the box it comes in looks nice, so I can leave it out on a shelf without feeling like I’m junking things up. The board and tokens are of typical “board game” workmanship – sturdy paper-covered cardboard, like a Monopoly board or other standard board game, but that’s exactly what I expected for the price – this is a family board game, not a professional wooden set. Great value for the price.

   The only slight negative we noticed – not enough to drop a star – was that for players new to the game the “non-play” areas of the board being in multiple color shades might make it a bit more difficult to distinguish the “in-play” spaces.

   This backgammon is not that one I predicted. The board is like a paper, ‌‌string pape not made as a wood.

   This set is not wood or felt but it is just like any other game board that we have boards for. It’s not any thinner than say My Monopoly board. It is not made of paper like some reviewer said. The size is fine, 15in board, not small and not extra large but large enough. The pieces are nice not very light like some cheap games have. I like the board, it is basic but correct and colors are great and easy on the eyes. Which I like. There is room in the middle to place pieces from the other player. Price could be a lot less. Instructions are ok but we may print out a better set of them online. If you are ok with not getting a felt or wood set, or carry case, do get this one. I really like it.
