   Aún cuando no es una miniatura para uso cotidiano, es una pieza que consideraba ya era necesario que saliera. Sobretodo para campañas con Illiths, como la que estoy llevando a cabo. Los detalles, aunque no son muchos, están muy bien adaptados y el extra de las estalactitas y estalagmitas, lo hacen ser una verdadera joya oculta.

   The size of the Elder Brain with the neolthelid pool is awesome. And the cave prices work perfect for almost any scenario. I haven’t played with the Elder Brain mini in a campaign yet, how I am using the cave pieces all the time in swamps, and caves. These are great for insect swarms to come out of and go back into for hiding. Like a swarm of centipedes. All in all, it’s a good buy with how often you can use the stalagmites and columns. Think of buying the Elder Brain is the main purchase and with the prices, and everything else is a bonus. I think it’s worth it and adds an extra element to your battle maps and environment.

   When I started my campaign 2 and a half years ago I knew this was my big bad. Unfortunately they didnt make minis for elder brains then so im pretty happy with getting this just in time to put a bow on top of a great story the players and I have told.

   When the minitures arrived I removed the plastic wrap that was around the box that’s when I saw that the left side of the box was crushed and the front plastic panel covering the minitures was open, luckily the minitures where fine.

   This miniature has an excellent color pallet with a glossy, gelatinous finish. It didn’t need the extra stalactites and columns, though. It would have been better if it came with some more mind flayers and servants. That said, there’s no raisin why you shouldn’t add this big brain to your collection!

    I really like this set! I do have a complaint, though. As someone who also uses warlock tiles for in-person games, I don’t like that the stalactites and stalagmites don’t match the colour of the cave warlock tiles. I do prefer the colouring of this set, so maybe I’ll recolour all my cave warlock tiles…haha. It’d be nice if the sets matched!

    This is one of the prettiest pre-painted miniatures I’ve ever purchased. While it would have been cool if it came with mind flayers instead of stalagmites, the elder brain itself is beautiful. It has a shine that really makes it look like it just rose from the brine pool.
