   Cool minis but the bird minis EASILY breaks off their stands even with careful use. The first one I got came with an already broken off it’s stand giant hawk. boardgamesweekly.com then sent me a replacement and now the Owl after just a handful of sessions broke off it’s stand. I’m an adult whos careful with minis as well. The birds are held on by just a tiny teeny little dab of glue, it would be much better if the stand went into a slot on the minis instead. I’d give it 5 stars but having a piece(s) thats are almost guaranteed to break just can’t be ignored.

   The minis look great, for factory paints that is. Only.. the cat almost look like a dog/fox. Downside is that this set isn’t enough, so I bought the second one too. That wasn’t enough either. Mainly missing a T-Rex and a panther, and a few more. They could easily release a 3rd set.

   The minis are pretty decent. I’m sometimes pleasantly surprised with Wizkids’ products when the paint jobs are not awful (like the eyes painted in the correct places and such). And that was the case with this set. I also like the versatility, as I could use these beasts as monsters as well. The only problem for me was that the eagle was sheared off at the transparent stand (where it connects to the mini) upon delivery. It’s fairly common, I admit..I’ve broken such minis myself at home (my own fault). However, it’s rather discouraging when it arrives that way. And yes, it might’ve been the delivery person, or the warehouse worker. But then, it should have studier material (or better adhesive) so such breakages do not happen in the normal course of shipping. I fixed it pretty easily of course, so no harm, not much foul.

    I’ve been waiting on minis for some of the SUPER common wildshapes of SUPER common RL animals for years. This is so great to have for the Druids at the table. Pre-painted, yes please.
