   I just got Dead of Winter and there are so many bits I decided to get this organizer. I didn’t like the potential of a splinter from the wood parts, so I decided to sand it. Since I was doing that, I decided I may as well paint it and put some accents on it. It’s a great look and helps to feel the theme of the game. The product has an excellent build quality that I reinforced with a tiny amount of wood glue. All the parts fit together nicely. Good addition to the game!

   “Dead of Winter” is a game with a ton of things. Over 300 cards, dozens of dice, dozens of character standees, dozens of zombie standees, a plethora of little tokens. It’s also a game that necessitates all those tokens, cards, standees, and dice to be accessible on the table. With the included insert, your cards and pieces could be everywhere (albeit mostly collected in the included baggies) At the end of a game, you could very well have them everywhere. So what does this Broken Token Box Organize do? It facilitates storage and distribution of those items in a clean, stylish, and organized way. Your cards will be in the exact same place you stored them, not shuffled all over the box. Your tokens will be in little trays you can simply pull out from the box and put on the table. Your items are all nice and ready for play. What this means is less time organizing your game for set up, and more time spent playing the actual game! You’ll get the Broken Token Box Organizer in sheets of birch, with included instructions (easy to use), with the individual pieces easily punched out by rotating the pieces and snapping off the small connected parts. With a small amount of tapping, you’ll find that they’ll easily fit together and they are quite snug. The whole product oozes quality, which is good because it costs pretty dang close to the game itself. The seams feel very smooth and flush, which is very impressive for something you just punch out of a sheet of birch wood. If you’re a fan of this game, you owe it to yourself to buy this. It’s a luxury item for sure, but the quality and practicality of this for “Dead of Winter” should make this a compelling item to anyone who owns this game.
