I love my set. It is easy to take on an outing and set up a game anywhere. This is a quality set that I think I will have for many years.

Board arrived with slight damage to outer vinyl. The fit of hinges and felt inserts was so poor I just had to send the backgammon board back. The shipment came in a timely manner and the return process was easy.

Perhaps I don’t know enough about the world of backgammon sets, but when I opened this set the first thing I thought was that it looked and felt extremely cheap. Like Chinatown bin toy cheap. Upon closer inspection some sides were coming unglued already. The hinges are very low quality and I can’t imagine them lasting more than 5 years, tops. Is there some magic to backgammon set manufacturing that I’m missing? Judging quality of such a low tech item is pretty simple: What are the materials worth + how much workmanship is required to build the product. For this set the sum of those parts should be closer to 30 or 40 dollars.
