Arrived in perfect condtion. Opted to play an online version to play with friends in other places. Characters all have unique play styles and abilities. Can be played alone or with 3 other people. Overall I highly recommend to other DMC fans. This game is so awesome I won’t deduct a star even though there is no playable Vergil. (The Alpha and Omega expansion adds Vergil as a boss enemy.)

Being a long time Warhammer and Magic the Gathering player I picked up the game play very quickly. My wife got this as her first “big girl” board game. Because she’s a massive fan of the DMC series. She’ll be painting all of the very well done miniatures as well for a great additional value for the game.
The game flows very well after the initial setup. I strongly recommend getting dice to keep track of the wounds and orb count. The cardboard pieces the game comes with are annoying AF to utilize. Also getting clear plastic card boxes to store each of the characters and monster decks is a good idea.
The initial setup and complexity will be overwhelming to newer table top gamers but after a couple rounds it’s goes quick and everything plays really well.

Looking forward to playing this game with my brother, combat feels fun and fast pace with the combo system and the cards have and real good feel to them, the only problem is that when I opened the box 4 of the models where damage and had pieces broken off. One being snapped off the BASE! like how much have you guys been throwing this stuff about to get that to happen!? I had my worry when the game arrived with no protective packaging around it so the box was damaged. I managed to superglue the bits back together but with it being a expensive game I though they would of had more care. Overall very fun game but extremely disappointed with boardgamesweekly.com and the warehouse staff for maintaining care for the products and I won’t be buying expensive stuff from the again so anyone wanting to buy this game best go to the steamforged website to insure nothing gets damaged.
