At the official D23 Disney fan convention this game was heavily promoted, but surprisingly this game is not for Disney fans. The game questions are incredibly easy and often the answers can be found in the picture on the back of the card. The gameplay is also too simple. In traditional versions of Trivial pursuit players must travel around the board to answer questions from six different categories. I would expect to see categories about Theme Parks, Movies, Animation, Television, Marvel, but instead there are only three categories. The categories are trivia, lists, and a category where you answer questions about your teammate. The major flaw in the gameplay is that you do not need to collect wedges from each category. Instead you can pick whatever category you would like. The game questions are incredibly juvenile and this is not very enjoyable for Disney fans.
Instead of getting this I recommend these two Disney trivia games:
Wonderful World of Disney Trivia Game in Collectible Tin or The Wonderful World of Disney Trivia 2: The Sequel Game

I am a huge Disney fan so of course I really enjoyed this game. But the thing that made this game so much better than other trivia games (besides it being Disney!) was that it’s a team game. Players form teams to play; this made it so much easier for my younger kids and those who don’t know as much Disney trivia to be able to play and have a chance to win. The one thing I didn’t like was that you can only go in one direction around the board, whereas in classic Trivial Pursuit you can go forwards, backwards or cut through the middle if you want. I highly recommend this game though for any Disney fans or families who enjoy playing games together.

That the game would be anything connected with Disney, which surprised me cause I didnt realise there was so much stuff associated with Walt Disney. That it is a childs game which leaves the adults behind as my Dads generation grew up with Mickey and Donald, so the questions leave him dumbfounded and confused.

If you like Disney in anyway, this is a fun game. it is fun for all ages, and can be adapted to whatever age is playing. some of the directions are not great, but you can do whatever you want with this game. It is very fun.

The game included a board, 3 decks of categories, 6 blue & 6 red wedges and 2 tokens. The game states it for multiple players, but with only 2 tokens you need to play on teams or find something around the house to use as a token and keep track of your wedges.
The cards have a picture on back which will indicate the topic of the question which also leads to the answer on easy questions. You don’t really use the entire board since you can choose to move forward or back and stay in the same area of the board. After 2-3 games we started to make our own rules to make the game more challenging.

If you love Disney games here is another fun one. The kids can participate in trivial pursuit fun! When we play with the adult version we include the disney trivia cards so the kids can play along, great family time 🙂

I chose this rating because I purchased this game to play with my grandchildren while in Florida. First my grandson age 8 (and very iintelligent -reading at a 6th grade level) could not figure out the directions. So we put it away until my son and daughter-in-law could play with us. Neither of them could figure out the directions either and the few that we did figure out were ridiculous. I would never purchase this particular Trivia Game again.

Bought this for my six and four year old and it works great for them. I know some of the other reviews call it simplistic, but come on, it’s a Disney game, Mickey is for kids even if us adults like them as well. So it was fantastic for my kids and that’s what I cared about.
