Excellent format for introducing concepts of managing anxious feelings to kid who finds such talk boring and frustrating. I play with my 5 yo who worries a lot. I answer my questions in a way that I think will be most helpful to her and give her ideas on how she might answer her questions if she gets stuck. It’s really just a venue to introduce concepts and ideas that I hope stick.
If you’re a non-professional, like myself, I’d recommend going through the cards alone ahead of time and planning helpful/applicable/appropriate ways to answer.

I ma an LMFT and work w lots of kids who have anxiety issues. They all love this game. It facilitates talking about their worries as well as teaching them coping skills. I wish the board was different. The layout design is a little confused and cluttered. . It would work better if it was more like the TFD game. But it is the best game I have found so far for anxiety.

This game is a big hit in therapy sessions. Great discussion starters and ways to address coping skills. It was actually worth the money.
