   I love the game but we just open the package this week and found that one of the character swords was broken and we couldn’t find the sort the rest of the sword in the package. If we could get the character replaced it would be an excellent review and game

   you can buy this for cheap miniatures. I bought this when discount, that was good. but all giant’s figure was smaller then it should be, that was bad.

   In fact, All human hero become halfing XD

   but over all, good price for miniatures.

   I haven’t enjoyed all the dungeons and dragons board games that I have played. But this one is the best one I have ever played. Wonderful miniatures. Amazing mechanics. Super fun for everyone! And it goes pretty quick once all your players get the hang of it!

   My gaming group is currently playing through the D&D campaign “Storm King’s Thunder” and decided to invest in this board game. The game is a solid game with some minor issues. The group still prefers Blood Rage for territory control or a light war game. If you like D&D and territory/war games then this game is for you. Simple mechanics, easy to learn, and relatively fast play time. Now on to the miniatures! They are nice quality and will be easy to paint due to the size. If you are wanting to use these for D&D the scaling is off. The giant slayers are tiny compared to a regular D&D miniature, The giants are 2×2 taking up a total of 4 squares on a grid. They are large bases, not huge bases. I mention this for anyone wanting to invest in the miniatures. They were clearly scaled down for the sake of being able to fit on the board game. This however does not take away from the use of the miniatures for D&D or the board game it self. Overall I give it 4 stars for the actual game play.

   I do t play th board games WOTC puts out often but buy them all for the miniature. These are great quality miniatures but they are not the same scale as the D&D miniatures. I state this because the other 4 games all had same scale miniature.

   Disappointed with the size of the pieces, I have bought other games like this and the scale has been pretty consistent with 28mm models, these are much smaller. The game itself is okay though.

    I was hoping I could use this to teach my kids and double up the minis for my actual D&D game. Minis are approx. half the size of traditional gaming minis. Don’t get for the minis.

    When this game first announced i thought that will be the best boardgame ever. It really is, game play wise and added terrain map is a nice touch. However i can safely say that this game deserves only one star because of giants scaled down to normal troll size and giant slayers to hobbit size. Overall quality of minies terrible there are many dents and faulty connection spots. They dont even cared to put names on bases only inscription you can find under a base now made in China. If you are going to play this as a standalone game buy it but like me if you plan to use minies on DnD sessions you will be disappointed by the size and quality of minies just stay away from it.
