   If you love strategy and games that take some thought, you will love this game! It doesn’t take that long to learn and it is extremely fun. Whether playing as a human or alien, it can be very nerve wracking and a real thrill! I would definitely recommend this game to any strategy lovers. The only thing I would say is that the dry erase markers they send do not last very long, they’re cheap. I went and bought a box of 8 ultra fine tip dry erase markers and those are absolutely perfect for this game!

   Escape From The Aliens In Outer Space is a game of hidden movement, bluff and double bluff from Osprey Games. There is no board, only several dry erase notepads featuring space station maps and card information. Players are dealt out cards which tell them if they are a human or an alien, and also what specific roles they have within their team. On a players turn they move on the map- humans move one space, aliens up to two- and if they land on a noisy space they must draw a card. They card will tell them to reveal their location, or say the coordinates of any space on the board, trying to fool the others off the scent. Humans can also use item cards, which give them special powers- one even allows the human to attack an alien. The point of the game is for the humans to escape off of the space station by making it to the escape pods. The aliens want to find and attack the humans before they can escape. They do that by announcing that they are attacking into a certain sector. Since no on knows who anybody else at the beginning of the game, announcing an attack will reveal you as an alien. Escape From The Aliens in Outer Space is a great hidden movement game that adds a real spin to the game genre. Other hidden movement games such as Fury of Dracula, Letters From Whitechapel, and Scotland Yard see only one player being hunted. Here, everyone is hidden and everyone (potentially) is being hunted. It’s a little bit, in a way, like Battleship, but much more nuanced, and a lot more fun. In some ways, it’s not unlike Osprey Games’ They Come Unseen, in that it is a team hidden movement game, though Escape From The Aliens In Outer Space has the edge over that submarine game in terms of sheer fun. It’s a great game of cat and mouse that offers thrilling moments and close calls galore. I recommend it. Review copy provided.

   What a beautiful package!
   This started life as a print & play game, which I had heard alot about. Reviews had been favourable but I never quite understood how this game would evoke tension and intrigue, however, during my first play through this immediately became apparent as people announced there locations within the game rules. After 3/4 rounds of the table, other people from the gaming group started to come over to watch. By the end of the session, people were whispering tactics, mind games where being played and generally, people were on tenter hooks!
   The components them selves are fantastic, well made spiral bound, wipe clean maps, provided with whiteboard markers in a lush box and excellent stock cards.
   This game plays best with larger groups 6/8, recommend with at least 4 but 2 player is possible on the smaller maps provided.
   Highly Recommended, fun and plays within 20/60 minutes depending on group size and player ability.
