Most of the pieces you can’t see any seam of any kind which is usually hard to find in any pieces that aren’t hand carved. Even though these are slightly smaller pieces than what I used to use, the weight to them is excellent; the knight pieces have exquisite symmetrical detailing on them which is a big factor for buying a set.
