Als Erweiterung gekauft, um das Tabletop Spiel um den Rollenspielaspekt zu erweitern. Gebraucht, weil es bei einem reinen Buch unnötig erscheint, es nagelneu zu kaufen.
Kam sehr schnell, wie bei diesem Anbieter eigentlich immer, Ware in Top Zustand.
Das Buch ist wie das ganze Game komplett auf Englisch, aber das war ja bekannt, und man kann es eigentlich gut verstehen, vor allem wenn man schon ein paar RPGs gelesen hat. Der Aufbau ist sehr übersichtlich, es gibt wirklich gute Tipps, wie man das RPG und das Tabletop zusammen nutzen kann. Im Grunde kann man es als reines Pen&Paper ohne Figuren nutzen, aber mit Gelände und Figuren hat man den unnachahmlichen Fallout Flair. Wir kombinieren daher beides, erzählen jetzt Geschichten im Ödland und erkunden Gelände, tragen Kämpfe mit dem Tabletop aus.

Modiphius hat das Würfeln neu erfunden. Ohne die überteuerten Spezialwürfel geht gar nichts. Man kann sie auch nicht durch normale RPG Würfel ersetzen. Unnötig kompliziert ist das Regelwerk auch noch da man die “Würfelergebnisse” die aus Zahlen und Symbolen bestehen aus einer Tabelle/ Tabellen ablesen muss. Waffen haben auch keine Entfernungsdaten sondern Farben. An der Farbe darf man dann das entsprechende Lineal auswählen. Figuren oder wenigsten Marker (selbst basteln) braucht man dann auch. Wer das Buch nicht zerschneiden will kommt nicht darum die Seite in Farbe zu kopieren oder auch hier wieder selber zu basteln. Aber ich glaube man kann sie wahrscheinlich ebenfalls überteuert kaufen. Kann es nicht empfehlen.

The book is very useful, if you want Fallout WW to be more like the actual Fallout games I’d recommend this book. It included a lot more than I expected and it also had quite a bit of lore about the factions. It also has many creature cards.

I was really looking forward to seeing a real TTRPG for Fallout that would expand on the universe and give DMs (or whatever you prefer to call yourselves) a chance to explore the wasteland.
This game is pathetic, and I have no intention of using it in its current state. Half of the book feels like an advertisement to sell miniatures for the board game. The rest of the book focuses solely on locations, factions, and creatures that are in the video games, predominantly FO3 and FO4 with some minor references to pre-FO3 games and zero reference to New Vegas, out of sheer pettiness.
This is like buying a D&D handbook and realizing it’s based solely on the Baldur’s Gate video games with no other development of the world, characters, factions, creatures, spells, you name it!
Please, do not buy this! Demand better!!!!!!!
