These days I only leave a review if something is really good or really bad. This is brilliant !
Everything is top quality. The tanks are superbly detailed and the cards and other parts are
top quality. You get the four tanks in a basic colour which can be painted further if you wish,
plus sturdy card tokens and flat card terrain representing woods, hills and buildings.
(Be better with your own 3D terrain though). If i had to pick faults I’d say that the IS 3
is missing an anti aircraft mg although it has a mount on the turret.
It’s a bit unusual to have the rule book and cards duplicated in 4 languages in the set.
This means that unless you have opponents from other countries you’ll probably end up
throwing some of these away. Perhaps it would cost less if you could buy it in your language only.
Altogether though, a highly recommended game set. I only got it for the tanks, but the
gameplay seems good (but basic) and the game has given me ideas on how to improve
my own wargame rules.
