This game starts out fun. But then turns into monotony when it is seven against four and the NPCs have more hit points and do more damage than my characters.
The game was missing a few pieces, not worth complaining over.
This game was way too expensive for what you get.
The miniatures were okay, made of plastic. It was easy to confuse them with other ones though

This game is massive and well-detailed. We are beginners to games like this, so the accompanying online game master is excellent. If you are a total beginner, it will take a couple of hours to really get started, but it’s fun so far and I’m learning a lot. There are all kinds of options for more detailed explanations if you get stuck. We only got through the first couple attacks or campaigns and that took something like four hours, but now that we have the hang of it it should be much smoother and quicker to progress. They provide everything for you, including developed character sheets and game pieces and different boards.

My daughter and I tried out the game for the first time today, and had a lot of fun. I will say, if you’ve never played a game like this, ie: Dungeons & Dragons, then there is definitely a big learning curve. There are a lot of game rules to learn which include dice rolling, movement of characters, movement of foes, casting spells, etc. The Loremaster (think Dungeon Master) website was quite beneficial to game play. Overall, a fun game with lots of potential.
