   Great dice drafting game! The variety of boards, politics cards, and emperor track benefits mean that every game is going to be slightly different so you can play a lot without getting bored. The passing mechanic which allows the dice to be rerolled helps to minimize randomness and prevent wasted turns. The icons were mostly self-explanatory, but I still appreciated that the rulebook had an overview of symbols on the back, as well as explanations for every staff card, politics card, and emperor track tile. Each game ended on a high note because we hit the end of turn 7 before we could finish everything that we wanted to do. It left us wanting to play more. Although the individual boards are fairly small, the game has a lot of pieces and takes a decent amount of space to play. This is a game to play on a dining table, not a coffee table.

   This is an outstanding Euro. It offers a nifty dice action selection mechanic and has great artwork and replayability. There’s a slight learning curve with this game and is a tough challenge with the limited amount of rounds in the game, but GAH stands as one of my favorites of all time.

   Tenía tiempo leyendo que este era uno de los mejores juegos a dos jugadores y no me mintieron, el juego es muy equilibrado, el draft de dados da muchas opciones al momento de generar recursos, es un euro solido en toda su expresión.

   No dudo que este juego sea muy bueno con más jugadores sin embargo la dinámica del doble turno y lo apretada que pueden ser las opciones de recursos a elegir hace que sea un juego que sin problema se vuelva muy largo.

   Si les gustan los juegos de draft o colocación de dados como Castles of Burgundy o Coimbra este juego es un must para ti.

   Challenging and very strategy heavy board game. Very fun but takes a few minutes to learn. Great rulebook with so many easy to reference sections.

   You may not love this as much as I do, but this game works really well. It’s a light weight ‘euro’ that keeps you thinking. I only play it with two and that seems fine. Takes about 45 minutes to an hour if you move along. Decisions are meaningful, multiple paths to victory, some luck, some interaction (choosing limited resources), quality components. GAH deserves its strong reputation. If you want war, space, zombies, dungeons or farmers look elsewhere but if you just want a nice challenging game, buy this.. It’s smooth, balanced and entertaining.. Game does play 3+ but there are probably better options.

   Tiene un nivel de dificultad avanzado, incluso para los que se sienten cómodos con los juegos de mesa modernos pesados.

   Lo bueno es que no depende del idioma, todo es con símbolos. Las reglas están muy bien explicadas y hay un apendice donde explican detalladamente todas las cartas y locetas en caso de duda.

   Una vez que le entiendes a los mecanísmos es un juego muy bueno de pensar y estrategia

   This is a really fun game. The rules are pretty simple to understand, I only played 2 player games so far and it moved pretty quickly. The components are nice, the boards are nice. I enjoy the artwork. It’s got some strategy, a little tactical with some luck mixed in. Overall it has been a fun game and glad we added it to our ever growing collection.
