   This game reminds me of my first experience of playing Halo: Combat Evolve. Although it is a board game, it has different story modes to suit different number of players or player’s taste. One box of this boardgame is enough to bring a whole lotta joy to a bench of people no matter they are strategy fans or family guys :p
   Seriously i recommend anyone to buy any Risks Special Edition because of the flexibility of the boardgame experience.I have played the Star Wars Edition, the Lord of the Rings Edition, the Normal one(which all edition has), and now this. This Halo version can match up the funness of other edition i assure you!!
   Price wasn’t bad by the way, considering it allows 2-5 players to play on the huge Halo “Ring Map”.
   Absolutely Quality….Copy Out….

   I Love the fact that the map is made on two parts which are also 2 sided maps so you have can grab one half of the map and play with 2 players and have 4 different 2 player maps to choose from or use the whole map on the halo ring side and if you get bored switch it to the forge side, and it also has teleporter tiles to place around the map to add your own customized connections between continents or territories.

   Bought as a gift, recipient loved it. We’re veteran Risk players and were able to jump right in. The inclusion of portals, team specific benefit cards, and a 5 ft. (😱) map are nice additions to the game.

   Overall, we continue to enjoy the game. One thing that I didn’t care for was the lack of territory cards to randomize initial territory control. Players take turns choosing territories, thus creating pockets of strength. While honestly more realistic and bringing with it an added layer of strategy, I prefer the old way. That being said, the game is still great.

   This is a very nice variation of the classic Risk board game. The map board is extremely well done, with not one mounted map, but THREE! You can play classic rules Risk and still have an extremely fun game. You have not just one army, but true to the xbox game – THREE armies – UNSC, Covenant, and the Flood – with two colors each of the UNSC and the Covenant for up to 5 players.

   Once can add special rules – there are bases, teleporters, campaign cards, faction cards, and heroes – all add elements for greater variety. Well worth the price for a HALO fan.

   Jeu offert à un ami fan de Halo : l’univers est respecté et très bien utilisé. Le jeu est visuellement très réussi.

   Les variantes spéciales Risk son simples et donnent une très bonne dynamique au jeu, ce qui rend cette version à mes yeux plus sympathique et vivante que le Risk classique (cartes action, téléporteurs pour se déplacer sur la carte, pion “héro” pour donner un bonu au lancer de dé…)

   Que le jeu soit en anglais ne rend pas les règles ni les cartes difficiles à comprendre pour un niveau moyen/correct d’anglais (une connaissance du jeu Risk de base aide grandement à la compréhension).

   So I bought this for my boyfriend who is 19. I have played the regular game risk with some of my friends a couple months ago and it was kinda fun. He is in love with this version. Granted he is older..I think it would be fun for anyone over 12 or someone who plays halo games on Xbox. Very long game though, takes over 5 hours to play and finish, but totally good for those snowy or rainy days. Would totally recommend. Also it was alot more expensive at Barnes and noble than it was on Jere. Glad I checked to see they had it here. Great deal.

   Die Lieferung verlief sehr schnell. Ich hatte schon damit gerechnet das es sehr lange dauern würde weil der Lieferungszeitraum etwa 3 wochen betrug. Die Ware war bereits in der ersten Woche da.
   Da dieses Spiel ein Weihnachtsgeschenk ist kann ich noch nichts über den Inhalt der Ware sagen.
   Bin bis jetzt jedoch zufrieden.
