   This chess set is worth the price! It is real marble and is incredible beautiful. I love the padding it comes with for underneath the pieces so it doesn’t scratch. I also like that their logo is a sticker you can pull off to not take away from the beauty of the piece. It is a conversation piece in my study when not in use. Very happy with the purchase.

   The king size is 3.6 inches, suitable for regular chess boards. The stone chess board is a little small, 1.5-inch square. Marble is not expensive stone, and it is not manufactured finely, either. Visible defects are cracks, natural pores and chipped edges. There is something good that they are beautiful, if looked at distantly. And the board is better than the pieces. I will keep it myself, but won’t give as a gift.

    I consistently get compliments on this piece I have sitting on my coffee table and even becomes an easy activity for friends gathered in the living room. My only complaint is you have to be really careful with the pieces. I accidentally toppled the king yesterday and his head came off! Ive had to fix a pieces with super glue but they stay together afterward so it hasnt been a huge deal. Definitely recommend buying especially with so many color options. The absolute best boards Ive seen for the price

    Absolutely beautiful!! Extremely fragile though. I think the pads that come with the set are too thick and take away from the beauty of the set and also cause the pieces to be even more unstable. I separately purchased pads are much thinner and they look very nice.
