I have been looking for the big box version of this game for awhile since it’s been out of print. I was lucky to find a seller that had it for a good price shipped for free and arrived with no dents on the box!
This game is great, it has simple rules and a lot of take that elements that make this euro game very interactive unlike traditional euro games that play out very solitaire. Highly recommend this game and the seller!

El producto me ha llegado abierto y destroquelado, como si se tratase de un producto reacondicionado. Al final no lo he devuelto porque estaba completo y en buen estado. Pero no me parece bien que se cobre como nuevo algo que claramente no te llega nuevo.

Ohne Würfel (Glücksfaktor) finde ich die Spiele gut.
Man sollte aber die Aktionen laut mitzählen, die man tätigt. Sonst kommt man leicht durcheinander.
Die Promobonusmarker habe ich auch schon geschenkt bekommen.
Alles in allem ein tolles Spiel.

this game doesn’t have the misprint the big box 1st edition had which is nice. The game is a classic strategy euro game set in medieval Germany. Its sort of a area control game where your placing merchants on a map and controlling trade routes, the game has some lovely player interaction where if you kick another players merchant off a route they get to place 2 merchants next door. The box comes with 3 boards! two German maps and a britainia map and two mini expansions. I’m a fan of games like concordia and brass birmingham and this has a simaler vibe although arguably even better player interaction, although those games play 2 players very well, this game plays 3 minimum, I probably wouldn’t play any less than 4-5 players though.

I’ve never had so much fun laughing with friends as we screwed each other out of trade routes for points, making up our own little stories for doing so along the way. What may seem like a dry as dust euro out of the box, and a fair bit of time needed to explain the rules/actions/purpose of the game, quickly accelerates once you start playing to one of the best euro board game experiences ever. Interactive, thought provoking, just enough complexity, and tight mechanics. What more do you want from a euro?

I rarely post reviews but I really wanted to take the time to review this game because it is just that good! This is one of the best games we have ever played and we play a lot of strategic board games. It’s always challenging, with so many possible combinations and strategies. You have to be always strategizing your own game as well as blocking the game of others. Great game that will keep you playing without ever getting “old”

Nachdem wir die Regeln erst mal drauf hatten, ging es gut ab. Ein wirklich kurzweiliges Spiel mit sagenhaft vielen Möglichkeiten, das Spielziel vor den anderen zu erreichen … wobei es auch Spaß macht, zweiter oder dritter Sieger zu sein, da man jederzeit eingebunden ist … ein 5-Sterne-Spiel! 🙂

Bought a used copy from boardgamesweekly.com advertised Like New in original packaging for $10 cheaper. It was not and an entire punchboard was missing. I felt burned and noticed the old version was on ebay for $15 but missing pieces. Despite the devious idea I wanted to return it as received and order a new one from FiveBoyz. Shipped on time but a corner of the box came unglued and there was a small tear. All pieces accounted for. Game is a lot of fun and there is plenty of hours packed into this box but despite the components looking great they feel light and cheap and the box is falling apart. Pegasus did reach out to me in email and offered to make it right. I’m leaving a 3 star rating for the quality and experience but the game is 5/5.
