Saw this game at someone else’s house and had to get it. I’m surprised it’s not more popular. It’s a crowd pleaser from age 6 all the way up to adults. Highly recommend that everybody have it in their collection!

My daughter that just turned 4 loves it, but so do us parents. I’ve even taken it to play with friends (4 adult players) and it provided lively, fun play for hours.
Make sure you exclaim, “Loopin LOUUIEEEEEE” before flipping the switch to begin each game. It’s an unofficial rule, adds to the fun, and serves to alert all players that battle is beginning!

It’s very easy for a young kid to play and in most cases they simply block the Louie airplane from knocking down their chips by simply raising up their airplane launcher. On the other hand, to some one who is more skilled at playing there are ways around this defense and you can sometimes cause the airplane to land right on their chip. It also deters mindless slamming of the launcher because that will cause a chip to fall.
You can have still a lot of fun with only 2 players but it is really at its best with more.
I’m pretty sure that Hasbro is making this game more cheaply than how I remember playing it when I was young (-1 star), it seems more flimsy now, but the mechanics still work well.

We used to have this game ( English version) and had many hours if fun with it before it was lost in a house move some years ago.
Its fascinating watching the little plane rise and fall whilst each player is trying to deflect the plane upwards away from their area to prevent their coins being displaced.
There is only the German version available but its such a simple game to set up with illustrated instructions, that the written language (German) is not an issue. Just great fun, suitable for children of all ages and particularly good for children who may have learning difficulties as the concept of the game is very easy to understand and can be quite exciting and noisy ( in a good way).
