   Bought this having played it somewhere else. Its quite a fun game. Its a good social game and everyone can play even elderly people and young children once they can read.

   I would give this a 5 but I give it a 4 because I purchased it used but thought that all pieces were with it and it was missing one extra red chip. I guess the seller was looking at the extra as being an extra and not affecting the game. It still works and I am alright with the fact that we at least have the minimal required pieces to play. The game itself is great. It has been eye-opening to how difficult portraying emotions are – some are more subtle than others. This has been great for us and our kids to play as a family game. It teaches my children how to show emotions and see that all emotions can be fun to show. I think this would be great for group awareness with kids and adults who are challenged by showing emotions. It can be challenging and show a person how difficult it is for others to read particular people.

   This is an amazing game. It gets the whole family together and keeps us laughing. Some of the cards seem a tad inappropriate to play with little kids, but we have so much fun and love the family time.

   I bought this board game 4-5 years age when I was diagnosed with a spacial learning disorder where I had trouble reading facial expressions and tones of voices thinking that it might help me pick up on the subtle differences between things like tension and anger. After just a month of just playing with my family we became addicted to the game and they already started to notice that I was getting better at reading their facial expressions and moods. This game is great for a laugh at a party or for some good old fashioned family fun.

   Moods is my favorite board game. It never fails to entertain and lighten a party of game night when traveling.

   While it is certainly an adult game, it is also a good game for older children – 7 or 8 and up? I’m not a specialist in children’s cognitive development. I find that the game is a very good game to play with children who are learning to read, build their vocabulary, and to express themselves. Part of this is because the game is as fun for the adults as for the kids, which cannot be said of all games for children.

   There are some cards that push the edges of suitability for kids because of the jokes that emerge when playing but this is easily managed by playing it a time or two with adults to figure out which cards to pull out of the stack when playing with children.

   On the whole – it is a great game!

    My mom has been talking about how her & her friends had lost this game but it was their favorite well over 20 years ago🤣I decided to purchase it for her cause she said she was unable to find it & assumed it had been discontinued. I was lucky to find this great price & great quality & shipped it to her. My little sister recorded her reaction which was priceless. I only wish I was there to play it with them but regardless I am so happy & eternally grateful for this seller! 5 star even better quality then expected.

    I played this game when visiting friends out of state and I have never loved a board game as much as moods. It’s amusing and I’ve had great laughs from playing with other friends. I’m happy with my purchase however one little glitch is a token is missing a number sticker.
