Conflict of Heroes is an older game, but well supported and fun!

Unbelievable price on this great product. This merchant also shipped this game very quickly, and was securely packaged. A very interesting tactical system that simply, but effectively portrays squad level combat in the South Pacific. The Japanese player is rewarded for employing historical tactics that would be suicidal in other games on the subject. The components are truly beautiful to behold, and help make this simulation a pleasure to play. Perhaps the best tactical treatment of the Pacific War available even without the huge rules overhead of Advanced Squad Leader.

Great game. Rules appear intimidating at first but are very easy to pick up on. Mostly 2 player firefights, but still very fun. The only very minor issue we had was there was way to identify “active” units so we supplied our own pieces for that. Every firefight gives an overview which is historically accurate as well as a synopsis of what really happened in the actual battle. If you like smaller scale war games and good strategy you will enjoy this game.

Super! Easy to learn and lots of fun.
I really like the COH system for it’s lack of tedious rules that turn every game into a slow grind.I also own Storms of Steel ,Awakening the Bear and Price of Honor, all highly recommended.

Guadalcanal is a fantastic military game at squad level. Details are great: board, pieces, etc. … excellent instruction books.
Takes a little bit of time to figure out how the game flows with the instructions and rules of play. But good time spent.
Academy Games has excellent wed site, plus excellent customer service center. Worthy of the money spent.

Too long. Game play not that enticing.
