   We played this Christmas eve with 8 people and had a blast! Directions were easy to read and follow and the books had it all. We hope to make this a tradition so will keep watching for more to come out! I highly recommend!

   The scripts were nice and having multiple guests who really embraced their characters made for plenty of laughs. However if you’re wanting to host a true crime solving game this is more of play. You have scripts and each character has a motive but honestly there is no way to get clues to solve it for one suspect over another. You basically suspect each character then they give an alibi or excuse except for the last person who has no defense in their script. So it was basically a scripted sketch play that was enjoyable mainly due to the “actors” ad libbing. No mystery to solve.

   My family loves to play these mystery games with holiday dinners. We have done several over the years. Most are very good, only an occasional lame one. Usually they tell you the maximum number of players and you can adjust by leaving some out to match the number of guests.
   Not this one. Must be eight or it doesn’t work. Be aware before buying
   Luckily, the customer service people were very nice here and allowed me to return it when I realized I didn’t have a big enough family for this particular one.

   If I could give it more stars, I would!
   I love throwing murder mystery dinner parties and it is incredibly difficult to find the games that have a full script, most just have suggestions of what to say, but this is one of them. It takes the stress out of trying to improv what to say and makes it easier to get into character. Plus the script was HILARIOUS, and it only gives you your parts so there are no spoilers.

   Overall it was entertaining, fun to play, and was the perfect way to spend time with a group of friends. As the host, it really made things easy for me. Definitely worth the money.

   I have already bought another one from this company for my next dinner party and will probably end up getting the entire collection. Cannot wait for them to make more!

   I’m so excited that I came across this game because this company has more than one murder mystery game out on the market! I actually went to a murder mystery party that my friend hosted this past year and we played “A Night of Societal Chaos” which is also by this company. It was so fun! I’ve been to a few murder mystery parties before but this was the best one I’ve played. It’s very well written and there is a lot of room for your guests to get into character and really develop a persona! You can make it as serious or as goofy as you want depending on your play style. The guides are easy to follow and the story line definitely lures you in! My favorite is how the murderer is slowly revealed at the end. The anticipation makes it fun for sure. Although, I have not played this particular game yet, I don’t see how it would stray too far from their previous games. I opened it up and the set up looks very similar. I plan on hosting my own murder mystery party a little closer to the holiday season and this holiday themed one is a no brainer! I will gladly follow up with a review and have no doubts it will not disappoint!

   This was one of the most fun murder mystery dinner kits we have played. We played it for a theme night even before the holidays. The quality was excellent and the story was easy to follow. This is a wonderful game and I highly recommend for a fun night!
