I bought this games for my son who has autism. He is into sounds and loves this game. We also have outside sounds . It’s a great learning toy for all kids.

I love the Listening Lotto Series. I have quite a few of them in my classroom. Students can work on this independently or in a group (lots of game boards so many people can play). Also, there is no one who has to be the “caller” like in traditional bingo games so everyone can play and I can work with other students, play too, or just observe.
It moves at a quick pace, so make sure you can pause the CD for student/children who need extra time to respond.
Also, the CD gives a description of the emotion but never states the name of the emotion, so the students need to already know what emotion each picture on the game board represents. Many of the pictures are not entirely clear; I had to modify the game board for my classroom by putting the name of each emotion with its corresponding picture (on each game board) because some of the pictures could work for multiple emotions and my students were getting confused.

This bingo/lotto game is amazing! We are teaching a child w/ autism about reading emotions on people’s faces and what situations bring about different emotions. This is an awesome tool with lots of variety! Great realistic faces and situations. Only thing i don’t like is that it moves pretty quickly but I guess that’s what the pause button is for! Great teaching tool that is lots of fun!

Gave as a gift. Wish the sounds were of better quality and easier to distinguish.

My children had a similar game years ago and loved it, we also used it for an “Everybody Counts” program at school to demonstrate how people with blindness can identify things in the environment through sound. Plan on using this game as a sensory teaching item for 2 year old grand child.

My kids had a similar game many years ago and loved it. I purchased a DVD player at a second hand store and ordered the game. I was very disappointed because it has very few sounds that repeat over and over. It is not even a challenge for my grandchild who is 3. It was boardgamesweekly.com recommended and not worth the $.
