This is the second copy we bought. The first was a Christmas gift for our son, who lives 3 hours away. After playing it with him and the rest of the family, we enjoyed it so much we bought it for our house, too. It is a cooperative game, so we have to help each other through strategic placement of pieces to maximize both attack and defense. We all win together or we all lose together. Our son has always been so competitive that often, nobody wants to play board games with him–especially our daughters, who are not competitive. So this has helped build relationships that were often strained, and he still gets to be competitive in a sense as he strategizes where to optimize the pieces so we can win. He still is focused on winning, but this game helps him to focus his energies on the team, rather than himself. I highly recommend it.

Ordered this as a gift and unfortunately it was missing a set of game pieces. The day after submitting my claim, a new replacement was on the way.
This game is fun. It took a bit and some YouTube videos to figure out how to play, then it was on. We played as a family and enjoyed being a team instead of competing against each other.

The game is very balanced in terms of game duration. It is very simple to learn and fun to play with any number of players. The only details is: the game is extremely hard until you realize that you don’t have to reset the “ready” and “set” part of the game after every action. Once you get the correct way to play, the difficulty level is well balanced.

The game itself is loads of fun but the internals were poorly put together for the one I received. Excess glue and cutouts still present on the boards. It doesn’t effect the game but is a shame
