   These pieces have a very nice weight to them. Not cheap or flimsy. Perfect size for a board with 1.5″ squares. Details are nice and defined. The felt on the bottom of a few pieces was a little crooked but nothing that affects to ability to play and easy to fix or put a new felt sticker on. The colors are very a copper set and antiquey brass color with a green cast. Extra queens are a nice bonus. Bought to go with a board my husband made as a Christmas gift for a grandson. upgrading from a cheap plastic and cardboard set

   Nice solidly build (not solid pieces) metal pieces. While these are hollow pieces they are nice and heavy. The finish looks good and their weight feels nice in the hand.
