   The game itself 5 stars I knocked it down because the box is damage and my pieces are not as good quality as the other ones. Every one of these boxes are a stand alone or play together. Every villan has something that is special to them that actually makes sense to that story. In this one there is two new types of tokens, one the adding and subbing strength is explained. But what are soul tokens? I haven’t opened any of thr characters to find out. Other than the pieces, the art is wonderful, everything is quality. They just didn’t sand down the lines for my box. It won’t ruin the game, it’s just a detail I noticed and wanted to point out. I can fix the two things that are wrong. Oh, another thing! While there is a wonderful plastic inset that holds everything oh so pretty Take out that insert and you can fit two more 3 player boxes in it. Also, I have found it helps to put each villian in their own bag with all their bits…. If they aren’t in their own baggies you have to make sure everything is there st the start of the game, when, if you are like me you just want to set up and play.

   I’ve played the Disney Villainous and this one picked my interest since I am a Marvel fan. It’s easy to pick up, it has some very fun twists on the formula so it’s not a copy pasty from the Disney version which is nice. I highly recommend this game and also, Thanos has his own set of rules which changes the overall dynamic of the game in a entertaining way, but I wouldn’t recommend playing the character it if there are only two players in the session.

   Disappointed with the game. I loved Disney Villainous and have all the expansions and assumed that the Marvel Villainous would also be of the same quality, but I was quite disappointed. Firstly, the quality of the components are a big step down compared to the disney version. The player tokens feel light and made of cheap plastic compared to Disney. See pictures. The cardboard token vault is also cheap. As for the cards themselves, the creators didn’t proof read them before sending them out. There are quite a few misprints and visual errors. For example there is a Random 0 cost symbol on the power stone that should not be there. There is also a typo on Thanos’ “Taste of cosmic power” card. See pictures. There are 2 that are considered items and the third is considered an effect. Which one should it be? The texts reads more like an effect. But 2/3 are items??? As for the rule book. Many of the rules are vague and left to interpretation. For example Killmonger’s “explosives” card. When and How do you “remove”. Why not just say discard? As for the balance of the game, the creators should have play tested more. It is way too easy to win with Taskmaster and Hela. There should be a way to destroy or limit the power of the “Training Dummy” or it gets too easy. Won with Taskmaster vs Ultron 3 times in around 15 minutes per game. Hela vs Ultron was competitive but also easy for Hela. All in all, I was excited about the game but feel that Ravensburger were too quick to release it and didn’t take the time needed to perfect the game as they did with Disney.

   Al principio parecen muchas reglas, pero no es nada que una buena leída a las instrucciones y algunos videos de YouTube no puedan resolver.
   Cuando se logra entender las reglas y mecánicas del juego, se convierte en una experiencia muy agradable.

   Game is fun and unique. Each character has a different goal which keeps the game interesting to play. Which there was more characters but you can get expansion but they cost almost as much as the game. The learning curve is a bit more than average but that’s ok since it’s a more interesting game because of the skill level involved. It’s not as difficult to learn as Earth or Wingspan. You have to take time and figure out a strategy for each character as they each have their own set of cards to use while playing with them and unique special cards, tokens ..etc. The first game took over an hour but I could see it being finished less than an hour once you get used to it.

   Although this this game is not easy to learn and the thickness of the pieces and cards feels cheap it’s a really fun game to play. We love that it’s a challenge and are constantly pulling out the manual to challenge each other. Great family fun!

    It’s a LONG game. Wish the instructions were clearer but there’s a ton of YouTube videos that go into more detailed explanations. Overall it’s a fun game, my kids enjoyed being the villains for a change! Just and FYI, when you play, you play for hours because the objective is to block the other villains from winning with hero cards. It took us 2 almost 3 hours once we got the hang of the game. Still a really full game

    My kids have loved the other villainous games so we and they were super excited to see a Marvel version. They noticed right away how the game pieces are of less quality then the previous versions. The game play is still fun, the makers of this game just cheeped out big time on the pieces and of course the game costs just as much as the other ones.

    I love the Villianous games, I enjoy Marvel over Disney, but prefer Star Wars overall. Not as balanced as Star Wars, so house rules may need adopted to balance out the game. You’ll learn who is a harder and easier. I’ve got 2 expansions as well.
