This is a game simulating CCGs and it does that better than I ever could have imagined. Even if you aren’t into Magic: the gathering or Pokémon that much you still could like this game. It doesn’t break your bank like CCGs do but still feels like you’re playing one. I would recommend even if you don’t like CCGs to give this game a try before you buy it because you might still enjoy it. If you are a CCG player then this game will be right up your alley and you will be able to jump right in.

Played with 3 of my friends, one of whom plays Magic and Lorcana. The other two aren’t very into card games at all, but we all had such a blast. We’ve played twice so far and have enjoyed every round and are always eager to start another game up. My only criticism would be that there need to be more and more impactful mechanics in the cards themselves. Most of the time, the only mechanic you’re really playing around is when to flip cards.

This game is just brilliant. The designer and artist outdid themselves by making a world of playing card games within a board game. Make decks as fast as you can by buying, selling and trading cards with your opponents and then play a tournament. This is literally the dream for players who love deckbuilding and playing card games but had enough of spending tons of cash buying them. And for that they had succeeded in making the perfect game..

It has a great sense of humour and will appeal to people who play CCGs and TCGs and play computer games and watch anime and etc. Learning to build a deck is hard though and so many people will not enjoy it. But for me it is a perfect game. If you have experienced building a deck to play any card games then this game is for you.
